I love pre-cuts, and am always looking for ways to use them efficiently. This pattern was designed to use an “orphan” layer cake, one where no other fabric from the line was available to coordinate with it, to make an 85″ square quilt.
You will need one layer cake, and 5 3/4 yards of background for the top.
There are five clues, to be released:
Clue 1: Sat, Sep 10, 2016
Clue 2: Sat, Oct 1, 2016
Clue 3: Sat, Nov 12, 2016
Clue 4: Sat, Nov 19, 2016
Clue 5: Sat, Dec 3, 2016
Each clue will be released through my Craftsy pattern store. If you’re on Facebook, I please join our group. Clue 5 will be the layout/finish instructions. Don’t be intimidated by the size, this project was designed to be beginner-friendly! So if you have an ignored layer cake in your stash, pull it out, find a background, and join us for this quilt along!
